Aldo Giacomini (born 1925) joined the Italian Resistance on the mountains near Lake Garda in the winter of 1943.
In the spring, 1944, he moved to Brescia, where he joined an urban fighting unit, the "X Giornate" Brigade, belonging to the Green Flames (Catholic-inspired partisans.)
After the Liberation, Aldo Giacomini was awarded recognition as a 'fighting partisan' from March 1st, 1944, to April 25th, 1945.
